Sharon has extensive industry experience with senior appointments in the Wellcome Foundation Ltd (Wellcome Research and Wellcome Diagnostics), at Medeva plc and Ono Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. On leaving Ono, she founded Medius Associates in 1994, one of the first dedicated business development consultancy companies. As a leading authority on Partnering and Business Development, Sharon runs dedicated workshops and training programmes on an extensive range of business development topics. A former European Pharma Licensing Council President, she is the Editor of the Business Development and Licensing Journal as well as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Commercial Biotechnology.

Sharon holds a BSc in Chemistry and studied for an MA in Business Law. Sharon has held several Non Executive positions (Chairman and directorships) and in addition, is the Course Director for the MSc in Pharmaceutical Business Development and Licensing run by Manchester University.
