Steve leverages 20 years in the IVD industry together with 10 years in medical device/IVD product and management system assessment and certification.

His experience covers R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Business Management System design, implementation, assessment and improvement, Global Medical Regulatory requirements, Notified Body accreditation and operations.

He led the Medical and IVD Notified Body at Underwriters Laboratories Inc. providing leadership in strategic development of the medical device and management system certification business. His previous experience was with International Diagnostics Group (IDG plc), Anagen plc and Gist-Brocades.

Steve holds a degree in Applied Biology from London University and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Biology.
